Not as good as the last one.

I love that it's over the top. It should be.

The gorilla on the ladder took it for me. That was insane. Once I saw the gorilla carrying the ladder, I know that's what was coming, but still--awesome.

Props to DC for putting that much money into a viral ad. It sure seems to work.

That Fiesta in tarmac trim is sweet, too.

"we're talkin' about doughnuts with liquor in 'em!"

For me, the first is still the best, it was never meant to be an infomercial. It was a compilation of practice stuff, edited to look cool. No slow-mo, no explosions, just a guy, a prepped subaru, and four sets of expensive tires. The first gymkhana was something one of us would make.

The day that I see something that cool and go "Meh, the other one was better," please put a bullet in my groin. I wasted more time than I should have watching that yesterday. It's like the best car chase you've ever seen...except with just one car, and without all the cop-drama-drivel. The variety of camera shots was awesome. The "course layout" was phenomenal.

Thought: A 5-minute cop/bad guy chase movie with block and another driver would be rad.

Oh, and I still rock the DC's too. Hate that they're made in China, but whaddayagonnado?

I dinno. I liked it better than the 3rd one... and the sideways blast through the prop wall was pretty killer. But the magic of how pure the first one was is what made it. I don't think it will ever be replaced.

You should keep writing... not that the DC media machine is going to take your idea or anything...

Do I get bonus points because I actually use them for BMX, and not flatbill-harparking-at-white-castle (their fries only come in one size)?

Best part was the long shot of the streets with the Fiesta popping in and out of intersections, interspersed with the gorilla carrying the ladder. The ridiculousness of the car just randomly driving through intersections (with a gratuitous 360 for good measure) kinda summed it all up.

My favorite was the snow park. Because it was obviously just a huge amount of fun. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Av0VsTxJd78

HAH! that gorilla part was pretty funny, I forgot about that. I half expected some Scooby Doo type shens, with the car chasing the gorilla, the gorilla chasing the car, somehow a ghost gets in there, maybe a clown on a unicycle, have Travis Pastrana guest star in the Subaru.... the possibilities are endless!

HAHAHA wow you said exactly what I was going to. I do use my DC's to thrash when I ride, my Globes are the 'nice' shoe

As long as I get bonus points for secretly hoping a 12 year old calls me a poseur so I can bet him his skateboard that my 220lb. ass can ollie higher.

Everyone gets bonus points if they use them for their intended purpose. All BMX shoes are is skate shoes anyhow. That's how the Vans Half-Cab was invented, BMX'ers complained to Vans that they were tired of cutting off part of the ankle covers on the old Caballero high tops.
