I'm part way through a rebuild of my Cannondale mountain bike and I'm trying to attach a new rear derailleur hanger. Is there a special tool to hold the back side of this fastener while I tighten the allen screw from the other side? I can't get it tight enough to keep the hanger from moving. I've tried to use a screwdriver, but I don't have one that's wide enough.

Or, does it even need to be super tight? Will the rear wheel quick release tighten it down and keep the hanger from moving?

    Forgive the crappy photo. Photobucket

Can't really tell, show us the other side?

But it looks like the axle goes through the derailler and holds it tight.

Why do I love Park tools more than Snap-On?

Mine are usually caked with enough gunk to hold themselves in place so I've never needed that Park tool
