I searched for "Hitler" and "Carmageddon" and looks like no one has posted it.

That was pretty well-done. The detour to the Apple rant was hilarious.
His rant against LeBron and the Miami Heat choking is still my favorite, though.
I don't think I'll ever get tired of ol' Adolf getting angry.

is there going to a be a rant posted about how Carmageddon was actually a non-event and that the locals want the interstates shut down more often?

They pulled it off.
54 hours and the road was re-opened. Took down the bridge entirely and rebuilt it.
You can get a lot done when facing fines of $6000 per minute for missing the deadline!

I was discussing that with some relatives this afternoon. RI and MA have some RIDICULOUS highway projects that are years/millions/billions over budget/deadline. Corruption > results around here.
Massive props to CA for pulling it off.

CArmageddon would be a great name for a pay per view special where they turned monster trucks loose to run over rush hour traffic.

Carmageddon was a great game. The most fun was when you located a good crowd and did a nice powerslide through them. There was actually one area where you could get into a football stadium with players on the field... oh boy!
405 carmageddon was a bit of a joke. I drove right by it yesterday morning, almost no one on the freeway. I find it a bit hard to believe that they didn't know they would finish 16 hours early and get a huge bonus for it.
The whole process wasn't exactly the model of government efficiency BTW. The only reason they had to shut down for a weekend was that they could have done in an easier way but a local group sued because they didn't like the change:

I am not completely up on the story, but it smells like a bit of "I've got a lot of money and I will tie you up in court" B.S.

This is ALL I can think about when someone says carmageddon. I think I need to find my disc and reinstall it!

I flew into LAX around 1:00 PM on Saturday and had to get about thirty five miles north to Ventura.
I took a bit of a tortured path: 405 South–105 East–110 North–5 North–134 / 101 West.
However, the traffic was so light that I got home within 10 minutes of when I normally would just doing a straight shot up the 405.
