I put my Jetta up on Kijiji. The first guy that phoned about it actually came to see it when he said he would. Then he said he liked it. Then he made me an offer which I accepted. He had no money on him. Said he'd get it the next day. He actually did. Car is gone, cash is in my pocket! By far the least painful vehicle sale I've ever made!

Congratulations.
The last thing I sold was such a PITA I have decided to just keep everything from now on.

There's a lot of those kinda places out here in rural Missouri. I want to be one of them. Don't know why.

My last few sales on CL have been like that... I must be livin' right.
Had antique forge parts listed for local sale only, guy 5 hrs away wants 'em bad but I didn't wanna crate n ship. So he makes offer: sends container, packing, cash and prepaid return shipping tag. Bing, bang, boom, done, EZ.
Wish more ppl were like that

My last few deals have gone smooth so far.
A prince from Nigeria sent me a very nice e-mail. Turns out he "fully intends to buy the item you have for sale" and just wanted to know the final price. Cool! So, I gave him the final price and get this; he sent me a check for MORE than I wanted and simply asked me to give him the balance back. So, I sent him the extra money back (I mean, why wouldn't I?). Now I'm just waiting for his shipping agent to get with me about shipping the car.
PAINLESS!
Be right back, my bank is calling me......

Everybody knows that's not possible. You're obviously lying about all of that.

Nice. I just sold my truck and it was that easy. Its become so odd for somebody to be honest, that I become skeptical of every sale.

My jeep went like that. He offered a grand less than my asking price (still, even at that point a grand MORE than what I was hopping to get:) and left a small deposit, then we did the deal the next day.

Last car sale on CL went similarly for me. First guy to e-mail showed up, drove the car, gave me my full asking price in cash. A+ wish it went like that all the time.
