SHOTime's implausible Fords had a honking-big lead going into the Charlotte event, where the Hongs' turrible rust-lightened MX3s dominated the field and narrowed their gap to 4 points.
A week later, the chicharron-fed SHOs came back and kicked arse in Houston, edging their cushion back into double digits. Now both teams are planning an all-out assault on the season finale at Eagles Canyon--which means any dumb clod with a crappy LeCar and a penchant for blocking the line can have quite a fun time. I love this, because my own group of locals will be headed down as Team Ok-Speed in our Spec Piñata. I am a mere 3 hours north in Oklahoma City. Should you need a place to crash on your way in, consider my casa your creepy truck stop. I have beer, a shop, and a fair collection of tools.
Otherwise, I hope to see you there. I may miss the Challenge again, but I'll still have a dose of Hong-Hoonisim!
