How Do I Change The Email Associated With My Account?

I can't PM. It always comes back as failed. This is using my yahoo mail account that used to work, but doesn't anymore. So I thought I'd change my email to another account I have to see if that works, but I can't see where I can do it. ???

Once you find out, add me to the list of curious minds. I, too, have a yahoo email - and an old defunct one at that, and PMs don't work for me, either.

Although I suspect that I know the answer which is to contact somebody at GRM World HQ and have them make the change to your account.

Mouse over your avatar at the top of the page next to the SUBSCRIBE button. Scroll down to PROFILE and click. Click Edit Profile. At the top of the page there is a link to change your e-mail.

So, is Yahoo the only free email service that doesn't work with the PM system on this board? I have others that I don't check very frequently, but I've not been assimilated by Google's services.

I think Yahoo is the one that is known to not work. GMail does (mostly) work, it occasionally flags the message as a potential "forgery" though because it wasn't sent by the originating service.

I have a yahoo account and here us how I use PMs here.

Let's say I want to PM to screen name JonnyWad. I attempted to send the PM/email and it will fail generating a response somewhat saying, "failure trying to reach jholmes@gmail.com".

Now I have the address and I just email to them directly.

I don't do the GMail thing, that is why I was asking about other free services. Wasn't sure if others such as Excite or Hotmail have issues.

Late to the party here but if anyone needs further assistance changing their email addy just let me know, I am happy to help.

Just now, was the first time that's ever worked for me. I've tried in the past, but it kept reverting to my old e-addy.

I've been using Hotmail (now outlook) for as long as I've been here. Sometimes Microsoft decides it's junk, but I'm pretty good about checking my junk mail before I delete just in case.

I switched mine to a Hotmail account and now it works.
