Haha! Great band. I saw them opening for Floggin Molly, and they were great.

Money Brother is another great band I got introduced to when they opened for Flogging Molly (I like them better live): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=22xxZQ2XIQU

Pumped Up Kicks didn't leave my head for like a week after I heard it.

The song that's been stuck for the last few days? Guster - Satellite: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZtYa7UhCWc

    I love Pumped Up Kicks!

I've really been digging the Alternative/Electronica genre lately. I really like 70s music, this seems like a modern take on it. Although I will say that it all sounds like crap unless you have a good quality stereo system. A lot of people I know hate it until they hear it on a a real stereo.

    FULL DISCLOSURE:

I have two seperate drawers for tshirts, I ride a fixie, I wear vans, I drive an older car with a big roof rack, I like longboard skateboarding, photography is my primary source of income, I love apple products, I occasionally wear mirrored aviators, and I have a tumblr. I'm kind of a hipster...

Yes they are. I have seen them live twice now and they were amazing both times.

Dude - your parents founded a shoestring magazine based on love of the subject rather than marketing research, and they have managed to make quite a go of it. Turning out this way was inevitable for you. Any superficial resemblance to hipsterdom is forgiven.

The tune that gets stuck in my head more then any other is the Theme song for the A-Team.

Funny, I thought my now 12 year old daughter would like that one, so I played it for her. She was like "yeah, that's fine". Then a few weeks later one of her friends at school played it and all of a sudden it was the best song ever. I'm like "hey, how about a little credit for your old dad?!"

Yes, but you don't drink PBR and/or share a studio apartment with two other guys.

Thomas, the word is separate. If one chooses to work in print media one should be mindful of ones spelling. BTW what are you riding a bike for when you have the whole Atlantic ocean to surf on? PBR in moderation kills the winter chills. Mirrored aviators are a backatcha kneejerk reaction to authority figures.

Oh no! That word always throws me. I spent a few years spelling it wrong, to the point that my iPhone put the wrong spelling in the dictionary. Now, when I spell it right (I've learned the error of my past ways), it autocorrects to the wrong spelling, and I don't always catch it.

I surf, as well. I carry my surf board on my roof rack.

What winter chills? I live in Florida...

Actually, I bought them for a Humans vs. Zombies game.

My squad was in camouflage with fully automatic nerf guns, radios, topographical maps, and preplanned/stocked bases and hideouts. We all wore the aviators with our BDUs and camouflaged nerf guns and marched in formation at the pre-game meeting. The other squads wouldn't come near us. Although that might have been because instead of shooting their scouts, we tied them to trees.
