POST FALLS, Idaho — An Idaho woman face charges that she had sex with a 14-year-old boy that she was hired to watch in August 2007.

KXLY-TV reported Tuesday that 28-year-old Summer Nelson, of Post Falls, was charged Monday with four counts of lewd conduct with a child.

Court records say Nelson was a friend of the boy's mother. Police say the abuse was reported in December 2008, after the boy's mother grew suspicious of Nelson's attention Nelson toward the boy.

Investigators say Nelson told the boy's siblings that she was in love with their brother. Detectives say Nelson and the boy had at least four sexual encounters.

Nelson remains held in Kootenai County Jail on $50,000 bond. It was not immediately known whether she had a lawyer.

COWETA COUNTY, Ga. -- A 38-year-old mother of two was arrested on charges she had a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old boy she hired to babysit her children.

The boy's father said the woman is a friend of the family and he was shocked and hurt to find out she was accused of sexually assaulting his son. He called it a blatant betrayal of trust.

Stephanie Der, 38, was being held in the Coweta County Jail Thursday morning. Authorities said they arrested her late Tuesday night.

"(She was charged with) statutory rape and cruelty to a child in reference to having sexual relations with a 15-year-old," said Maj. James Yarbrough with the Coweta County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators said Der sexually assaulted a 15-year-old boy who would sometimes babysit for her.

Police said the teen sent Der a flirtatious text message and she was reportedly flattered someone so young showed interest in her.

Deputies said at some point, Der and the teen had sex. "She has talked about the incident to us," said Yarbrough.

Deputies are talking to the teen's parents about getting him counseling.

Der has two children -- one is 13 years old and the other is 4 years old.

I have concluded that a grown teenage boy left under the care of a babysitter is the ultimate turn-on for women who are attracted to losers. Unfortunately for me I've always been in the "undesirable zone" between "total loser" and "self-aggrandizing douchebag." It's the dating equivalent of having a bachelor's degree.

I can't understand how I perceive that a young 12-14 year old boy can have sex with an older woman is okay and dismiss it with just a shrug, but I'm militant against an older man having sex with a young girl/minor.

Either way, they are being taken advantage of.

Because at 14 you were chasing tail? A kid who actually gets some seems like a win? I was trying pretty hard at 14... and striking out at every attempt. If I knew about this trend I'd have hired a babysitter for myself. Is there a hotline for misguided women in their late 20s? I am not above dressing up as a 14yr old boy (I can dye the gray out).

I missed my shot with an older woman at 15 or 16. Strangely I knocked one up at 27 and we've been together since.

There needs to be a double standard and there isn't. A 14 year old boy can only think about getting laid. If he can score an older women then more power to both of them. Usually if the roles are reversed it's a creepy older guy preying on a young girl and that just ain't right.

At 15 I had been seeing a 26 year old all my friends E36 M3 themselves when they saw her . Funny enough it also seemed to give me credit with the high school girls, guess they figured I had something going on if I could land an older woman and keep her happy.

Funny thing is now I'm 29 and my girlfriend (of the last 2 months) just turned 19 a couple weeks ago . Oh and she can't come over until later tonight because she is changing the oil on her parents truck and jeep before the family camping trip this weekend. Oh and no she isn't taking them in someplace she is doing the work herself. Odd that she does that when she has 2 brothers living at home and they won't do that stuff.
