...but I'm not.
This is for sale on my local Ebay (Australia.) '65 Alfa 2600 Sprint in lovely condition, going for about half of what this model normally sells for.
It all looks great...until you get to the engine bay. No Italian twin-cam beauty in there anymore. Instead, there's a comparatively pedestrian Holden 202 straight six.
Now, the car does come with a spare Alfa 2600 engine, but I wouldn't bother fitting it, at least not straight away. I'm thinking triple SU's, header and a hot cam for the 202, and leave it at that. You'd have a gorgeous looking Italian classic with an oddball, reliable power-plant.
