Well in defense of the "repoaster", unless you religiously (praise GRM) read the forums and go through all the threads it can be very difficult to tell what was posted based on the thread titles.

This is getting to Ken Block proportions.

I agree a thread titled EPIC thread! or full of funny or whatever the other one was called do not jump out at you and let you know that somewhere on the internet is a grump dude with a chip on his shoulder hiding behind a veil of anonymity tossing insults at strangers.

Do you think the dudes at DARPA had any idea that's what their creation would lead to?

Marty, you may call me oldfashioned but I refuse to accept definitions written by "gayskunk" and "snoopdoggiedoo." I prefer the definitions written by "Merriam Webster" or "Oxford."

Ugh. I also recall lots of people found it funny, too. At least I knew who to avoid in the future.

"...magazine cover." National Lampoon, early '70's. I guess it made an impression on me and the Snorkelwacker.

Winner, caption said Buy this magazine or we'll shoot this dog, bonus points if you can name the editor.

You are correct sir. I don't have a cookie to give you. Sorry.

On PJ: He is funny as hell as a writer but I tuned in to Bill Mahr's show to see him once or twice and he is HORRIBLE in person. Methinks he needs time to think before opening the yapper... much better author than actor.

    In reply to Duke:

Ahhh, apologies for the repost and committing the same faux pas of not adequately/appropriately titling and summarizing. Got trigger happy, I suppose.

It's not like the original thread was particularly obvious from ITS title... hence the wink
