Some bartering, some cash, some sweat......

6 X 10 ft. not including the tongue. I bought Northern Tools torsion axles and a coupler. I bought 3" square tubing at a local steel supplier; some pin head cut three pallets of tubing for a customer ALL of them exactly one inch short! I paid the scrap rate of $.50/lb. If you need 3" square tubing this guy's got a bunch of it.

The wheels are garage sale Ford LTDs, $40 for four. Scrap metal fished from the bins, tires from my buddy's garage, I had to buy them pizza & wings for lunch, a fair swap.

    $250. Torsion axles

    $30. Coupler

    $34. 3 X 3 tubing

    $66. Channel iron

    ~$20 Pizza & wings

    $11. Satin Bronze Rustoleum

    $5. 1972 Vega taillights

The center will be open and the two 2' sides will be covered. If you have ideas for ramps I'd love to hear it. I put tie down eyes at each corner and a ring on the tongue to hook a comealong to. Not like my stuff will ever breakdown.....

Looks real good, nice score on the 3x3! Ramps are pretty basic, but a bit of overkill is always good. 1 1/2x 1/4 angle works as long as you don't go too long, expanded mesh inside.

Suggest you look into brakes. You're not towing with a dually, they might come in handy.
