But I really am. Today, I replaced a washer nozzle on my Miata, as well as the gas cap. The washer nozzle didn't work at all. And who knows, maybe the gas cap will turn off that CEL. Maybe. And I know that really, this is like, kindergarten level car stuff. But it feels good to actually do something with my car. I was going to replace the plugs, wires, and ignition coil today, but I uh, sort of only ordered one ignition coil. So I've got another one on rush order. I can't wait!

For some reason... the washer nozzle repair always eludes me. Sure, its kindergarten stuff - and the washer nozzle I have only squirts drippers as far as the bottom 2" of glass but... I never remember to buy one - or even stick a pin in there to try to unclog it... until there is a greasy gob of bird shizzle in my field of vision. Then I pull over, wipe it and forget to fix the nozzle again. Its like it does the jedi mind trick on me.

Washer nozzle repair may not be engine rebuilding, but it can be fun. A friend of mine in HS hopped up the system in his car's wipers, and figured out how to adjust them.
When a tailgater would get too close behind, he'd shoot them and the streams would clear the windshield, go all the way over the car, and land on the tailgater's car. He'd keep it up until they had to hit their wipers, by which time they would have backed off.
The guy considered putting battery acid in the resevouir, but I talked him out of it.

I turned mine to the side, so when a ricer comes up on me and starts the ricer back and forth, back and forth, i just get him in the face.

Mee too mee too. My wife's TSX has had a poor driver's side nozzle for however long and any time I'm near the dealer I never remember to pick one up.

Just wait, you'll be replacing a clutch in 3 years.
