For me, it's the experimental spirit of Sgt. Pepper's crossed w/ a cooler version of Fleetwood Mac's "Tusk".

I think it's a fantastic piece of music. Great performance, too--live, one shot.

    Great song, and cool video.

I heard Ok Go's "Here it Goes Again" on the local alt/indie station recently. Might have to get the new album.

It's funny--for me, underneath all of the hoopla of that video is a nicely crafted song. That's me, though.

The best part is that there's actually some art to the Machine. Not only does it take part in the music, but it shinks and swells to make things interesting. The chaos at the end is awesome, with stuff flying everywhere.

I don't remember the song at all

I like the idea of ghillie suited brass and woodwinds....other than that no redeeming value to me.

I kept wishing the singer would stop making such awful sounds and I think I am too old to understand anything that he said. He sounded a bit too much like a tomcat caterwauling for my taste. I do like a band with a sense of humor though - I will give them credit for that.

Beatles, eh??? I remember their caterwauling on the old Sullivan show...

Keep in mind that clip was recorded live... in a field... with a marching band in tow. That said, I think it was a decent vocal performance.

I tend not to pay attention to lyrics most of the time (the melody matters more to me), so that didn't bug me.

After seeing both versions of the video, I have to go with the Rube Goldberg version.

First one was good, but second has win written all over it.

Either way whoever their director is, they are a pretty talented individual.
