OK, so I was bored one night and I decided to try my hand at making one of those Xtranormal videos. I also wanted to jot down my atheist arguments just so I could map out (kinda for myself) what I actually believe (or don't believe).
This video summarizes those points with a dialogue between a character named Bob, who is an atheist heading home for the Christmas Holiday, and Kate, who is a sort of analogue for all of the most memorable people who have tried to convert me to Christianity. She is not meant to represent all Christians (I respect all religions and the people who hold their convictions very close to heart--I used to be a Catholic). She represents the kind of person who is probably worse at being a Christian than an atheist--she picks things that make her life easier, and ignores the rest.
Notice the log disclaimer? This video might offend some of you. It is meant to be funny. But if you are offended by people who disagree with you, don't watch it.
If Bob comes off as a Pagan, he is not meant to. At two points in the video he refers to "our Pagan ancestors". He is referring to Kate and himself. I cut some of the conversation out and didn't notice the hole until after publishing.
Go to YouTube and search Office Religion Debate. I can't post the link from my phone for some reason. It's the first hit.
(Yes, the office decorations say "Happy St. Patricks Day". Whoever in that office is on the party committee needs to be fired.)
