I made a serving tray, but with pennies on the bottom and covered in a clear epoxy. It looks super sweet.

I made a brake line! Lol. First experience fabbing a line and it went ok. It was a very twisty bastard on the back of an e350

That looks really good. What kind of epoxy did you use, and how did you get the bubbles out?

Cool!

Now come to my place and make new lines for the MX6 and Escort, if you would. Kthx.

I made a strainer/sieve to use when hunting fossils (mostly shark and sting ray teeth) in the peace river.

The bucket lid (frame), mesh, eye screw, and key chain are from Lowe's. The zip ties are from HF, and the water noodle foam is from the local pool supply store.

I have less than $10 in it. Commercially produced ones can be in the $30-$50 range

What's the pool noodle for?

we paddle to the sites, and wade while hunting fossils. If a sieve falls off/out of your boat, it is easier to grab if it floats.. Of course, the spring-carbiner-style keychain is to hook it to your boat's rigging, so falling off the boat should not be a problem.

Thanks, I used Glazecoat High Gloss Finish Epoxy. From Lowes or Home Depot. It was pretty pricey but I didn't use much at all so there is still a lot for other projects. To get the bubbles out, you just blow lightly on the area, and the bubbles rise to the surface and disappear.

....and it works rather well. I found several shark teeth today (none big enough to be exciting) as well as a sting ray tooth and a fossil shell

I made a yard furnace. I started out making a burn barrel but due to the design of the tank I was using I built this instead.

It works like a charm and has the advantage of keeping the smoke out of your face.

I did make a fire pit with the extra parts and some scrap out of the pile. The kids had fun with it.

Dad and I made a paddle rack to hang my kayak/canoe paddles. The plan is to eventually put a shelf above it for life jackets and scuba gear.

SWMBO's mom gave me a legal sized, 2 drawer filing cabinet. What else was I supposed to do with it?
