    oh and to answer the OP, YES yes yes, yes it needs to be adjusted. They always need to be adjusted. I swear the friggen factories are de-adjusting RDAs right off the line! JB put it right, its not so much a quality issue... if they would just put more money into the reciprocating dingle arm these things wouldn't always be walking all over their adjustment range. Not to mention the parts are insanely expensive ($20 a bolt.. ONE BOLT).

    I think there was DIY RDA fix posted somewhere in here, you should try searching.
