OK guys, I am baring all here before the collective geniuses among us.
My feet are always cold and sweaty unless it's screaming hot out or I am really working. Sitting here at my desk, my toes are cold and my socks are wet. Not too much in the way of smell, honestly, but wet and uncomfortable. I've tried the following:
Insoles
Powders (in sock and in shoe)
Deoderant
Cotton
Acrylic
Wool
Alternating shoes day to day
Letting them breathe every few hours
And nothing really works. I nearly always get some sort of athletes foot in the summer because I drive home and the cold sweaty feel turn into hot slimy feet. At my old job, I had to wear steel toes, which you'd think would make it worse, but didn't seem to matter.
When it is really cold out, I can't have my feet on the ground - they get too cold. They get hot and everything like normal in the summer. This hasn't always been this way, I used to ski and rollerblade like mad as a kid and never had any of this.
Ideas?
