Since 2000, I've described the year by saying two-thousand and one, two-thousand and seven, etc. But I am officially changing my vocabulary, and will henceforth use the following convention: twenty-ten, twenty-eleven, and so on.

Just thought all of you should know. Discuss if you wish.

    I just used "oh-two", "oh-five", "oh-seven", &c. I expect to keep saying "oh-ten", "oh-eleven", &c, until it hits 2021, at which point it'll be "twenty-one".

This of course precludes some event of calender-resetting proportions happens before that point.

I've come with a message from god and you can go ahead and reset your calender!

I can't wait until the next decade when I can fondly look back on this decade and refer to it as "Back in aught 9..."

I think the past decade should be known as the oh-ohs.
