I recently turned 25 and have a good driving record, my insurance is ~$375/6mo for a camaro z/28 with full coverage and a fairlane as a pleasure car. I think what helps me is living in what is considered a rural area.

When I went car shopping the camaro was cheaper to insure than an integra gsr, celica gt-s, focus svt, etc... by a good margin.

advantages of being older (both wife and I are in our 30's), our ticket/accident days are way behind us, and we drive paid for 20 year old cars ('91 745ti volvo, '91 escort)... full coverage on one, towing service on both (cheaper then AAA) and are paying about $55 a month...

the only prob is adding another car always jacks prices up a bunch :(

anyway... some good info on here about ways to possibly get a bit cheaper price... will have to keep that in mind 7 years down the road when my girl starts driving (AHHHH)
