I wonder why they don't do this sort of hooning here?

DaYummm!!! That would be an interesting show to put on before a race, no? Very politically incorrect, but the crowds would love it. Seems the Chinese like American cars.

you mean caddies are performance cars? I could never tell by all the blue heads running around at 10mph under the limit here in the summer

I was talking to a guy with a CTSV in a parking lot a while back. Asked him if he liked it. He gave me the kind of smile that you couldn't get off with a wire brush.

Reminds me of the SAAB Suite: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5R0XnM98LU

Looks like GM translated the Saab Performance Team to Caddy.

A guy has one here at work. He has owned a lot of cars and said the CTS-V is his favorite out of all of them.

That is a pretty gnarly clip.

Yeah, the CTS-V is a sick car, all right.

I've never driven one, but when Dad test drove a V6 model, he said it was the best car he'd been in since his 93 300e... And thats saying something. The V is on my list of cars "that I someday think I'll own but might not but would be very very happy if i did"

Oddly, none of the cars in the video seem to be Vs, just the regular CTS (the non-mesh grille is the giveaway).

Reminds me of the "Joie Chitwood's Tournament of Thrills" I saw as a kid. Jeez, no wonder I'm so screwed automotive wise. Riding home in a GT350 didn't help

That's cool. Too bad you can't do that sort of thing here in the land of the free and home of the brave anymore. Oops, I mean land of the nannies and home of the lawyers... Yes, most appeared to be "standard" CTS's. There was a black V at the end. Wonder what mods they did to the diffs on the "ski" cars.

either welded or a serious LSD.. I doubt any sort of electronic locking diff could put up with that

Did you notice John Heinricy at the end?

I believe that was at the CTS V launch in China. I believe it was the same time J Hei took a black CTS V to Nurburgring.

I did 3 laps at Monticello in a CTS-V during the CTS wagon launch. Monstrous power and great handling, it was gobs of fun.

If Monster Truck emcees would stop getting run over, we would have fewer lawyers... having a motorcycle jumper slam into the wall at the same event didn't help matters...

Maybe trying to reduce the population there?
