So I might need my P71 to seat more people. So my thought was to add a bench seat up front. Is this a bad idea? I dont think mounting it would be a problem. is this GRM or a Hill-billy?

The old '80s Crown Vics had one so why not a P71?

Definitely GRM. Why buy a new car when just a new seat will do? They have had bench seats in all generation Crown vics. Go to the junk yard, find the Crown Vic, Grand Marquis, or Town car front seat. Done.

Well, you cooould do that... if you were some kind of nancy-boy who takes the easy way out. A man would add a rear facing bench to the rear deck or make it a double-decker.

Sounds great, but I like the sleeper look, not the drunk red neck one, lol

my 92 had a 60/40 split front bench. It was handy as hell, and comfy too.
