There are a few distillarys popping up in MD though, I got some stuff from Ward X in Frederick, but they are rather small.  I got some Carroway Rye white spirit that I have been aging in applewood for over a year now. Rather good stuff!  

Double gold at San Francisco World Spirits competition. Congratulations to the crew at Knob Creek who took home best Rye for the cask strength.
