Played a game over Christmas and I'm not a big board game person. This one is a cross between Monopoly and Trivial Persuit and there's wine involved.
You roll the dice and move your man around the board landing on a spot that has you answer a question about wine. Get it right and you collect money. The object is to get money, buy land, harvest grapes, botte them, sell the bottles. Go across the finish line with the most cash and fewest bottles you win.
However ....
Before the game you open three bottles of wine. Some of the questions are not a question but a tasting. Close your eyes and someone pours one into a glass and you have to determine which it is.
Questions are in two catergories, Sipper or Sommelier (easy or hard); as my son is going to a Sommelier school he had no choice but the harder ones.
It was a good time.
