I won't lie. I'm a huge Back to the Future Fan. I have loved all the movies since I was a kid. I am a member of BTTF.com forums and I haven't gone there in a while. I just went back and saw that Nike has made 1500 pairs of Nike Mags (which were the shoe that Michael J. Fox wore in BTTF II) to be auctioned off on Ebay for the next 8 days and the proceeds will go to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinsons Disease. Pairs of these are going way over the $1000 range.

Here's a fun video to go with it:

I really wish I had the money to waste. It would be fun to add to my collection and also to help out a great foundation.

I heard about these this morning. Seems like sneakerheads around the world all had a big, collective orgasm simultaneously.

That is awesome!! I love that they got the Christopher Lloyd to to the video! On a side note the delorean still has a v8 exhaust note but im pretty damn sure that there is not a v8 in there lol

They didn't come with a flux capacitor, either. Gyp.

If I had a Delorean, I would have to get a pair.

LOL. I think you might get a running DeLorean for that.

That movie was so fake. The entire premise of the series was physically impossible. Deloreans can't hit 88 mph in a parkinglot. Otherwise it was plausible.

There was a reason they put the Libyans in a ACVW Bus; it's one of few cars slower than a Delorean.

I like the idea and the benefit for Parkinson's (even if that means limited numbers and high prices) but they better just be teasing and holding out for 2015 to roll around to release the real deal.
