    Guy survived WW1, was a prisoner in WW2, and STILL made it to 110? I wish I was half that hardcore. My hat's off to him for sure.

    WW1 at 16 1/2 and then lives to 110 ! Hope all his kids, grandkids, great-grandkids, & maybe even great-great-grankids get some of those genes !

    Thats crazy, I just can't wrap my head around it, on one hand it is a good think that we havent had WWIII on the other thats the last link to any kind of REAL first hand knowledge we had...

    they are right in one thing. WWI is very much over looked by history and not many places really have things to look at about it. its all about WWII and other wars, even older wars before the great war are fotgotten about by many people. its cool to see someone from the great war was still alive till now.

    +1 to this. Anybody who lives that long is impressive, but still, to be in both world wars? crazy stuff.

    I was thinking the same thing, only for the "Frozen Choson" of Korea.
