There's probably a Tim Hortons IN Zellers all inside another Tim Hortons. I hear the canadians really like that place.

Is that $12 Canadian or $12 in real money?
+1 on the Smartwool socks. I wear the skiing/snowboarding ones all winter. They end just below the knee and I've never had them fall down. They normally retail for $20 a pair IIRC. My girlfriend picked up a bunch on clearance at Nordstrom for $7 or $8 a pair towards the end of last winter. I despise mid calf socks. They always fall down.
I used to wear Thorlo socks in the winter, but they don't breathe very well and I would end up with swamp feet.

$13 in real money
I am a bit of a sock snob -- real wool socks are fantastic. I prefer Icebreaker to Smartwool, but I must say the Smartwools I have have been more durable than the Icebreakers.
I'd rather have fewer pairs of quality socks than many pairs of cheap socks.
