some people you seriously cannot say anything to about this topic or that topic without them ramming their shiny happy fist of self-righteousness down your throat. They are the smartest person they ever met when it comes to Insert any random topic they feel theyre an expert on here. I swear some people will tell you youre wrong when you tell them 2 plus 2 is four just so they can feel bigger/better/stronger/smarter/faster/neater/ZOMG-er/more important than you. It must suck to go through life having to tell everyone how dumb they are just to make you feel better about your crappy self. One day I hope you get over yourself, and are able to just let e36m3 go. Eventually you will learn you can have friends and also give opinions at the same time, but as long as you go on telling everyone why they are wrong about everything, we will all just continue thinking of you as a douche.

    -EDIT-

just to clarify, I wasnt talking about you transmaro

Alton Brown says that Kosher Salt is for cooking, Sea Salt is for seasoning, and table salt is for putting on your frozen driveway. I am not a baker, but as far as other cooking goes, I agree with him.

If you have to ask if youre the shiny happy person, you are not. Most shiny happy people have no idea they are happily shining...so no, mtn, you are not.

This is not the first food/recipe/cooking thread thats been on the board here, and this is not the first time we have had to endure some incredibly important-to-themselves sounding BS on the topic either.

I'm mystified here, which must mean I'm the shiny happy person. But that pie crust really DID taste like crap.

Apologies for the confusion. I will keep my ranting to myself. Im probably as opinionated as the next person here. I just like to think of the GRM board as a haven from the richards of our society, and i guess i have to realize this is not my internet, so i have to take other peoples thoughts with ... Ahem ... A grain of salt

Focus all that fury towards the social engineers who want to protect us from ourselves.

And drink a beer to absorb some of the extra salt in your body - at least until that's outlawed, too.
