SWMBO really wants a backup camera for our base model highlander. There seems to be a ton of options, some of which have a dash cam function as well. Seems like time to jump in with both feet - but Amazon options are numerous.
Can anyone here recommend a particular front/rear camera combo kith that mounts on the mirror?
I'm interested too. The FR-S has a horrible back up veiw. It' one case where a camera should have been standard.
After lots of research via videos, websites, reviews on inexpensive combo kits... I decided to order a backup camera and monitor with a replacement mirror from Best Buy, without a dash cam. Not sure if it's a Black Friday deal or just normal price.
Despite having numerous car stereo installation under my belt, having them install with an appointment, and warranty it is what I decided to do. I'll be sure to look at how they powered it and how all the panels fit after it's in.
