"let's talk about us"
It reminds me of this old dodge commercial

That's exactly what a friend's ex-wife's new husband is driving.

Haahaaa... she'll just leave him when she meets a guy with a Ferrari.

And she seemed like such a nice, down to earth person, too. After she had their son, she went "looking". I don't doubt a Ferrari/ Porsche GT3/monied car would change things now. It was really odd.

"Sure footed Handling" well except for the bump steer. Did you notice his neighbor was driving an RX7?

The neighbor's a whiner, she was going no matter what the dweeb next door was driving.

Yeah! No way in hell I'd take a fiero over any RX7. I really don't need that level of pontiac quality fit and finish..

"An honest to gosh 120 mph". Hilarious. I actually think the GT was a pretty good effort by GM. I'd love to have one now.

I agree with Dan. Coulda been a Yaris, I'd still be outta there.

Was the actor portraying the neighbor improvising the names of some features, or were the dealers really supposed to point out "Ground Effect Side Strips" to potential buyers?
It's odd that they would feature an RX-7 as the competition- this was the car with the factory installed "IMSA GTU Champion" stickers in the rear glass after all. THAT seems like a more effective performance tie-in than talking about being "Shaped to scoop the air around and above the body."

That IMSA GTU?
How about a GT Lights Fiero.

You could update the Fiero GT w/ a 3.8 SC or V8 but the neighbors wife would be pushing 50 now.... not an easy fix, prolly lookin' at a trade-in there.

Ok, wait a sec.
1) Why did they use an 1st gen Rx-7 for the "other guy's car"? There where so many sports car options back then. Also, when that was made, the 2nd gen Rx-7 was already out. I would have taken a non running 7 over a running Fiero.
2) Why did they go out of their way to hide the girls face? Was she that hot that they didn't want to distract anyone from the beauty of the Fiero GT?
Either way the acting was pathetic.

Crap. I did it wrong. I bought the MR2. I thought it looked like a Ferrari. Guess I was wrong.

shame. the Fiero was one of the prettiest cars to come out of Ponitac in a long time too. It had a Baby BMW M1 look to it
