Side point- interesting that videos of ads don't have other ads as part of the presentation. hmmm

That's up to the video owner. If you want a piece of ad revenue, you turn on "monetization' and YouTube serves 'em up and slips you a check. You'll notice there are no ads beside my videos

I never realized before he's trying to force-choke the E36 M3 out of his dog. Whoa there, Charlie Manson.

I heard Lucas was happy with the ad when it 1st aired during the SuperBowl but now wants to go back and tweak it a little. Nothing major, just replace the baby doll with a CGI one. Replace the pb&j sandwich with a few CGI cookies. Give the mom a few lines of dialogue, so we can fully understand the emotional bond the two of them share. He also wants take out the sound effect of the VW Passat and change it to that of a Bugatti Veyron's engine.

Funny commercial. I hate it that car companies/ad agencies have to resort to tricks like this to try to sell cars. Does it really work? Why would a buy a Jetta because of this commerical? Because it has remote start? That just tells me it has an automatic. The ad, while entertaining does absolutely nothing for me in terms of my perception of VW other than they might have a small sense of humour and they are not good stewards of their money.

I love it every time I see a kid out in public in full superhero costume. In fact, my rule is that if my child comes downstairs dressed to go to the mall in a full spiderman outfit, complete with mask, we go. No questions asked.

I would do the ad sharing thing if I could....I was happy when I got the invite, then annoyed when I read the section Which videos are NOT eligible?. [sigh] I guess I don't get to make money by cobbling together clips of Jeremy Clarkson contradicting himself or being hypocritical.
