    If only it had A/C, I'd seriously consider trying to convince my wife we could bring it home as a practical family car. But the lack of A/C might keep her from agreeing.

    yes.. I remember an early MGB my father owned.. it had it's mirrors on the fenders as well

    Not only is it a fender mounted mirror, but if it's the same mirror that's on my '62 Chrysler, which it appears to be, it can be adjusted while comfortably seated behind the wheel.
