However I honestly think that there are only two realistic options because they are the two parties that are going to be in serious contention. When my option is divided between two of these realistic options and I like neither, do I vote for the lesser of two evils or do I 'throw my vote away' on simply trying to keep the other out?
I'm torn on the Palin choice, but then again I'm not that politically savvy - I'm working on changing that.
i'm writing in Ron Paul. we're berkeleyed whether it's mccain / cougar or the obamination, but at least i'll be able to say from my overtaxed and under-appreciated bunker, "Berkeley You. I didn't vote for this E36 M3-head."

You shouldn't feel obligated to vote for the lesser of two evils. If you truly do not like the policies of either candidate, don't vote for them. By voting for them, you're just condoning what you don't like. Don't worry though, there are plenty of people in the US that love the policies of the major candidates and we get to live with their decision.
