Speaking of Russia, I pulled a 4" flap wheel out of my tool box this weekend. Lately I'm becoming more aware of where things are made, and since this had been in there for a long time I looked to see where it was made. It said "Made in Russia" on it. How often do you see that???

The only thing I ever find on my flap discs are small chunks of my fingers.

The rear fender looks Harley-ish, the front end looks Honda but the side car wheel looks like a BMW snowflake wheel.

    Ural?

This apparently might come as a shock but the iron curtain actually came down, like, twenty years ago now. Yes, you can get Jeeps in Russia, along with Yamaha drums, Honda motorcycles and anything else you could conceivably get in a modern European country. Yeesh...

Sorry, internet is hard to use.

Those vehicles belong to the Russian mint: they transport money. The Cherokee is armored.

    Russia is cool.

My dad had a Nanchang CJ-6, the Chinese version of the Yak 52. One of his fellow Yak buddies summed it up nicely:

[bad Russian accent] "Russian engineering: Strong, like bull - Smart, like tractor." [/bad Russian accent]
