Jeff wrote:Eigensinn Farm is a gourmet restaurant north of Toronto. The owner, Michael Stradetlander, invites some of the best chefs in the GTA to come up to his farm and cook on open wood fires in the woods on his land. It's a benefit for local charities. There were around 500 people there.
When we first got there, Michael was serving smoked pork fresh from the smokehouse on fresh baked bread. There were oysters. There was an amazing pulled pork served on fresh focaccia bread. I had this grilled puff pastry filled with cheese and covered with bacon. There was elk and potato and leek soup. There was strudel and fresh maple syrup ice cream. I know I'm forgetting a ton of great food, I was stuffed when we left.
I just had a Clarkson-esque food "crisis"
He's not much of a cat person, either. Next door neighbor has one that has figured out that he can't get over the fence, so she sits by the fence to piss him off. Amusing.

Only extreme sport I ever did was on one of these:
Note- by extreme of course I mean the tightness of the spandex shorts worn when cycling. Even if i did have a picture of that, i'm not posting it LOL
Though, once I did get up to 50mph down a REALLY big hill, and doing that with only a bicycle helmet, spandex and 20mm wide kevlar bead tires keeping me from massive road rash is dangerous enough to qualify for extreme in my book.
