The most recent time algebra helped me was at work pre-pandemic, a bunch of the older employees were taking continuing education courses, and were having trouble with some of the math classes.  I became something of an impromptu tutor, to the point where the manager created an office policy something like "If you have a math question, go talk to VCH".  So, while albegra didn't directly help me, it helped me to help others, which made me a pretty popular guy.

VCH is the abbreviation of a particular body piercing (NSFW if you choose to google) and my morning brain was struggling mightily to relate that to algebra as I was scanning that post.

I think I get the CH part.  If V stands for Vertical then the equation to that algebra is nope to the nope times nope.

I came of age in the 80's as well.  I agree the 80's were the best decade.  Music, cars and so much more.  But be careful before throwing shade at 70's fashion, the 80's have some terrible sins too.Vintage 80s Leg Warmers -- And perhaps the most bizarre trend of the 80s? The '80s were bad.

The '70s were infinitely worse.

We may soon come to view the 1980's AND the 1970's as pretty freaking awesome by the time the 2020's are behind us.

Led Zeppelin produced all of their great work between 1969 and 1980.

The Seventies most certainly DO NOT suck.
