    Hey guys,

I just wanted to tell you about the Saturday I spent with Aussiesmg. He came to my little neck of the woods in south-eastern MA on a trip picking up his new challenge car. I have no idea why anyone would come to MA for a car as they pretty much all suck here, but he did with his friend Jamie, and a pretty gnarly looking ramp trailer in tow.

I showed off my small collection of old rotors and my Sapporo in my humble little garage, and then treated him to a drive in my REPU. I then had him pull over to show him how to really drive it as he was being respectful to my machine. I think he had fun,and we probably look odd being two large guys in a lil truck. Well it is Massachusetts though so maybe we just blended in.

My family then led them down to historic but mostly unimpressive(in my opinion, but I have been here my whole life) downtown Plymouth. We showed him the very underwhelming "rock",and the Mayflower replica before bringing them for some fresh seafood. Turns out they don't get that in OH.

My family had a great time meeting one of the fellow weirdos,I mean clan members in the flesh, and being able to show him around a little, and let his friend see the Atlantic for the first time. I wish we had more time before he had to turn and burn back to OH,but maybe next time.

I can't say what he bought for the challenge, but rest assured I think it will be fast.

Thanks for the good time Steve!!

    Thank you Chris and family,

We had a quite lengthy trip and weren't at our best, it is only 900 miles each way. We got back 42 hours from when we left, it was quite the haul. Not bad seeing as we spent about 6 hours in Plymouth and area.

Chris also got the assist from a friend who has experience with the type of car and checked it out for me prior to our arrival. Once again thank you both.

I had forgotten how to drive a rotary, that was embarrassing, but at least I have driven a REPU now.

Chris and I also had a minute of silence at the scene of the RX3's demise a year ago.

The shoreline was great, checked out a couple of touristy things as stated and had fun teasing the boys, yes we had a blast.

    Thank God for fresh seafood

Hope you can come to Gainesville and play mate

I didn't know about this!!! What happened?!

Anyway, having met Chris, I can also say that he is a lovely fellow. Nice to read about his hospitality.

You mean you never saw this thread?

Long story short,I bought a minty fresh restored 77 RX-3 SP,and 6 days later it was no more. Still has stains on pavement where the fuel tank spilled its guts over a year later.
