How did they get a picture of that nice set of red stairs when they were stolen? Maybe the radio station stole them. Here is AL, they only steal copper not galvanized powder coated stainless.

I believe maybe there's an "and" missing from that sentence? I don't even really know why you would powdercoat stainless (as shown in the picture) but that makes way more sense than galvanizing.

some grades of "stainless" steel will corrode pretty easily if it isn't covered with something. it just corrodes "less" than regular steel.

I think that's a stock photo of metal stairs.

// My guess is the work order said stainless/galvanized or something, and they were re-writing it to try and make it fit the sentence.

    I'm with Joe.

If you're not familar, try "The Sword". It's good, non-pretentious non-butt metal.

The steps are probably painted steel. The rails are probably galvanised fence stuff. The fittings might be aluminum (Granger, MSC, etc). If thats a true picture. Dumb reporter.

    In reply to Joe Gearin:

I was just speaking to a coworker today about how the cover of that album should be airbrushed on the side of a custom van.

As usual, I'm the odd one. Not a huge metal fan anymore, although I like when jazz guys decide to play metal
