Patchouli oil only smells good to other dirty hippies. I have hippie friends. Can confirm.

This morning, we went to the home of our friends for World Cup Soccer/Brunch. They are very active in their church, which used to be my church for many years. I used to go every week religiously (!), but aside from the occasional funeral, I haven't been been there since 1989. They often invite the priest, who is a very nice guy. I like him very much, and we have had many nice conversations, usually over beer or wine. It's odd seeing a priest wearing a black t-shirt, shorts and flip flops with a drink in his hand.
I'm always a little worried that he will try to convert me back into a churchgoer. I am equally afraid that I will try to convert him into someone who rides mountain bikes every Sunday morning instead.
I think I can make a convincing argument, and I fear that the odds would be about 60/40 in my favor. I would feel bad if I were the one to make him question his vocation.
I wasn't impressed with the rain shower head we installed in our new bathroom. So I spent two minutes yanking the flow restrictor. Now it flows like it should. Couple that with the new tankless hot water heater and I'm set. I know water conservation is important, but the difference between restricted and uncorked is huge.
I completely forgot about the rebate from the recent survey and as such definitely did not take full of advantage of it when I ordered 5 stickers. Oh well.
I should have gone to sleep hours ago but a friend sent me a link to a photo album and I had to sit and go through them all. 24 pages of pics shot by what I assume is a construction worker at Ground Zero in the month after 9/11.

This semester I had to take an Addictions Counseling class online for grad school. We had to admit that we were hopelessly addicted to something and give it up over the course of the semester, which doesn't sound that bad except the professor is hopelessly addicted to the stance that addicts do not have to have any personal accountability whatsoever, which really rubs me the wrong way. So the professor is basically telling all of us that we are all addicts, but it's not our fault, and submitting to the baby Jesus will absolve us of our guilt and forgive us so we can continue to be addicts. I decided to be a dick and I gave up sobriety. I have maintained a 100% non-sobriety rate when working on the class.
I have an A.

I'll accept that as long as you have a fine fox in front, and 3 more in the back of your new Cadillac.
My oldest dog usually walks without a leash pretty much everywhere, since she is so well behaved, calm and reliable. she just stays/walks next to me whatever happens. Our young dog get the leash, unless we are in the woods.
Lately, I’ve been attaching my son to sweet old Kyra during walks. I trust it is perceived as him leading her, while it in reality it is a super convenient and socially acceptable way to keep him busy, happy and... on a leash.
Is your life too damn boring if you have a dream that involves checking snapchat? Asking for a friend.

I've had 2 dogs in my lifetime that I'd do that with. Well, 3, but Frosty was extremely lazy and wouldn't really move much unless there was food involved.

Hey, I did you all the courtesy of writing the post in your language, so don't complain! ;-)

So I agreed to trade my Mustang to a 4runner if the current owner of the 4runner could get his title sorted. Well he's stopped answering my messages which is kind of annoying. But I also just realized it's a 2wd. I wasn't specifically looking for a 4wd but I'm kind of annoyed at myself for not noticing before and have lost a bit of interest in the car.
All the pics and videos from Worthersee 2019 has got me shopping for another rabbit to do a proper 76 GTI replica. I wonder if I could actually find a Heron head 1.6 motor?
I found another square body Dodge that runs for a price I could easily pay right now. I miss my crappy square trucks and kinda want another. That doesn't help any of my current needs right now though.

What hacks me is I said no smoking in my car. Did they listen?

Could be worse. You could be going for an Oettinger 16 valve replica.
Although due to the nature of the car hobby, it might be easier to find an Oettinger head than a Heron head.
Confession: I do not want a Focus RS because they are only available with manual transmission.
Now, on the other hand, the Audi RS3 has DSG. And five cylinders. But while FoRSs are now attainable to me, RS3s are still decidedly not.
Come on, depreciation, do your Germanic magic! I want to buy a $90k car for $25k. I have $1k left of payments on teh S60R. Between when I bought it and now, the approximate value of a clean, maintained second series S60R has doubled, and it's continuing to rise. I'll bide my time and try not to piss money down the Mazda hole, and I might just be able to work with this.
My credit union will lend me any amount for a sub-7 year old car, at 3%. Frickin' enablers.
I have been just on the verge of a new (to me) car for so long, I've looked at everything, and what I want changes every day.
I was surprised when I googled "GMT400 4/6 drop" and got sent to dusterbd13's thread. I should know by now that like an easy half of my Google searches are gonna come back to this place.
