They're going forward with a decent budget Swamp Thing remake. I might not get the "Dark Universe" but I'll take a modern Swamp Thing.

Whenever I'm really sick, for some reason I stay up and watch Law & Order until like 2am in the morning.
I've been missing my 1/4" socket wrench and extension and 10mm socket for a while. I opened the hood of my wagon to add windshield washer fluid and found this:
Well, awesome!
Just sold the cursed Suzuki. With a broken timing belt it brought me $750 cash from a buyer who showed up on time and with a tow dolly.
That’s a win!
Over the last couple of days I got the 1979 Cadillac running bringing my fleet running percentage up to 50% for the first time in years. Unfortunately I got it running to sell it easier and once I do my fleet running percentage will dip back down below 50%.

I just got car # 5 running. I'm up to 100% running!! I still need to replace the clutch master and slave cylinders, so I can't shift it right now. But start it in gear and it's good to go.

It’s very relaxing for some reason. I had a serious accident about 12 years ago and spent three weeks in a rehab hospital where there were four patients to a room. I was still used to being up all night from years of work so while everyone else in the hospital was asleep I was up most of the night watching Law and Order reruns. I didn’t realize it was bothering anyone until the guy in the bed across from me was leaving and started ranting about it on his way out.
These tires came in today and they were worth every penny. Don't mind the hot water heater the best lighting in my basement is over there because of the washer and dryer.

Bent pin?
Yep. It was the ground for the driver's door antenna and it would touch the other pin when the connector was put together keeping the car from going to sleep.

Had a '17 Malibu right off the truck once that whenever you locked the driver's door the Check Engine Light would illuminate. No DTC set in the ECM. Turned out to be the same thing, bent pin in a connector that was powering up the CEL circuit.

It's funny when you think that one little bent pin would cause all those issues. I'm sure you guys were pulling your hair out trying to find out what would cause that. Do pins bend themselves?

It was a screening interview with the team lead. It went well. I just got an email from the hiring manager to set up the technical interview for next week.
Getting closer!
Secondary interview is locked in for Monday morning. This is the furthest I have gotten in finding a real job. I'm in uncharted territory now. I've never had to negotiate pay or benefits. I'm fine with the starting pay (more than I ever made in the military ) and the benefits are just an added bonus since I use the VA for most of my medical.

Usually they either get bent when they are installed in the connector, or they get bent when someone crams the connector together wrong.
I won an auction for authentic LGB brass track sections for about 20%less than they usually go for. Now my train can chase it tail under the Christmas tree.
