The new episode of Roadkill has Leah Pritchett as a guest host. I love her.
Finally got the chains and wheel weights on my tractor. Didn't get much snow overnight, but traction is far improved.

link to 0% card provider? i could use one of those.
There are better ones for large purchases that are coming up, but I was specifically looking for balance transfer with 0% transfer fees. I think Chase has one too (Steel? Or Slate?), but since all my other cards are Chase, I couldn't transfer the balance.
Also, much more than a minor win..
We brought the boy home from a week long stay at the NICU with a clear bill of health.

So happy to hear this--certainly much more than a minor win!
My new co-workers are not shiny happy people and the work environment seems fun and not stress-inducimg.
I found a bitchin weird old Japenese bass at my favorite pawn shop and put it on layaway today.

Tonight is the one night-only US theatrical showing of Gundam Narrative, the newest Gundam film. Pretty excited to see it
Just got results back from my Microsoft MS-100 and MS-101!
They open the tests to people ahead of general release (at an 80% discount!) but with almost no prep material.
So far since last July, I've taken 8 beta tests, passed 5 of 6 and have results pending for the last two... you just have to be *very* patient as you don't get your scores until after the exam goes live.
Nobody got hurt when and the shop didn't burn down when one of the mills decided it had had enough of our E36 M3 and let the smoke out. Pretty good laughs too.
I've been going to the local YMCA for a class they call Boot Camp since December. It's about as tough as the name implies. Today I finally had enough strength and endurance to not only keep up with the best in the class, but beat them. I may not have as heavy of weights as them, but I'm getting stronger. I'm really happy with my progress. Minor Win!
..and really sore. I need to go stretch some more.
local classic rock station played Rush "Fly By Night" this morning, made it a little less painful to go to work. my ship isn't coming and i just can't pretend.
Off and on all day yesterday I had something irritating my right eye, and when I finally got the chance to check it out in a mirror right before leaving work I noticed a little black dot right outside my iris. Pretty sure I got a metal fragment embedded in it in the course of building a cart for my new welder this past weekend. Put off doing anything about it last night, since few things skeeve me out more than the prospect of someone digging around in my eye, and lo and behold somehow it worked its way out on its own while I was sleeping!

12 days after my second cervical spine fusion, and I'm doing OK. Not allowed to do much, but each day is better. Add this to my prosthetic shoulder, and other bits and pieces, I'm turning bionic.
Plus, through all of this, we sold our home. Now we have to find somewhere to move. All good news though. And I thought retirement was going to be relaxing!
