Dear 7 pound, 10 ounce baby Jesus, please put some real Libertarians in office so that when Ford gets 70% of the domestic market, GM and Dodge will die a horrible, disgraceful, painful death as they already should have. Amen.

While it's a good spot, I would have to admit that Ford hasn't been carrying the city of detroit on it's own for a while now.

Especially after the Ren Center was left to GM.

So the commerical is relevant to Detroit, and Chrysler, even if the Motor City was being held up by Ford based on this commercial.

(and I won't even bother bringing up the horrific years that Ford "never went away"- how many lost billions do you need to have a comeback?)

I have to admit, When I read the thread title, I heard Diana Ross and the Supremes singing, "You Can't Hurry Love" in my head.

Strangely enough they were a big part of the Motown sound so I guess it was appropriate.
