Last night on Jay Leno he said the latest food fad to hit county fairs was a bacon cheeseburger, with buttered and toasted Krispee Kreme donuts as the buns. I think I'd rather try this bacon-cheese roll, instead.....AFTER it's dipped in chocolate.

I made one of those and it turned out pretty good. My family split up and ate half of it. A buddy came over a little bit later and ate the other half.

Saw this on Man Vs. Food the other day, except they turned the donuts inside out and grilled them.

I'm not sure how many of you are familiar with the Double Coronary bypass burger from The Vortex... one-half pound of sirloin lettuce and onion 4 slices of American cheese 5 strips of bacon 2 fried eggs. Instead of buns, insert two grilled cheese sandwiches

I would DESTROY one of those with no second thoughts. That sounds amazing.
And i've made both the Bacon Explosion meat log, and the Bacon and cheese roll.
Both were delicious.
Hell, i've even gotten in the magazine for talking about bacon on this forum.
