Just in case you all forgot, it's out in Europe now and here on the 14th.
Pretty catchy stuff that appeals to many different musical tastes.

I love Muse.
they do rock, i love thier super eurobeat stuff from the intal d stuff
Mmmm. I love Muse too. They're one of my most listened-to bands on my iPhone. Supermassive Black Holes, Starlight, and Exo-Politics are my three favorites!
They're European?
one of the new songs off the album is called "United States of Eurasia", but don't worry, it's not at all political.
I am flying my wife to the Atlanta U2 concert for one good reason, Muse is the opener. I wish I had the time off, we are both huge fans. Didn't preorder the album because we want to pick it up that day.
Theyre given megaprops in the dedication sections of a series of books Im reading right now. Between how much I like the books and how much you all like em, I guess Im gonna have to jump on the bandwagon. Please give me a good playlist...i.e. song title and album if possible. I will probably spend a few bucks at amazon tonight for a few downloads. I'll get around to purchasing albums after I get the obligatory ton-of-gift-cards during the holidays this year.
Whenever I hear that song "starlight" I think about the poor bastard they want to can up and send to mars.
that where the big band that was at acen and a couple of my frineds seen them and said they rocked. i was not going to fight the crowd to see them though. they are from japan they clain to fame is from the sound tracks to inialt d the anime....i think....

You must REALLY like Muse if you're willing to sit through U2 afterwards
They are from England, not japan.

In reply to GameboyRMH:
Well it is just the wife going, with three other girlfriends from college, please don't read anything into that. So far there are no US dates for Muse for the new album other than opening for U2, and that is only in select cities, when they come here it is black eyed peas opening for U2, sigh. I have to stay here in Phx....
Anyone got a decent Muse playlist they want to share?

You're thinking of M.O.V.E

Wow, two of the best concerts I ever saw were both U2. To each his own I suppose.
I heard a new single from them today that had some massive Queen influences. Pretty decent.
I dug "Hysteria" and "Knights of Cydonia" in the past.
I really wanted to go to see Muse open for U2 (and leave when U2 came on) but all the shows are right when school starts for me so I can't make it.
As for a Muse playlist, anything from the Absolution album, along with Plug In Baby, Muscle Museum, Feeling Good, and Sober are my favorite.
U2's lyrics are like nails on a chalkboard to me. In other areas, I rate them "meh."
Well, U2 will be helping to balance my budget, as I will be working 9 overnights for their setup and break down. Don't know if I will be working the show itself, but if I do, I will be getting paid, and I'll listen to lots of different stuff if you pay me (TI and JayZ, The Wiggles, Cats, etc).
The new single you heard was probably United State of Eurasia. Uprising has a dancish beat heavy on the bass.
I think the best song on the album is "Exogenesis part 1"
I heard Uprising on the radio tonight. Sounds like club music, but really catchy.
Got the album, I miss the old Muse
