I think a licence plate you could get custom would be pdffile.

We once had a buddies aerostar that screamed creeper. We took painters tape and wrote free candy on the side, then in the back the fine print of "we're legit".

I think a bumper sticker that said something like "pedophiles don't drive pedophile vans." or "If you're close enough to read this, and under the age of 14, would you like some candy?"

And maybe a bucket of gummy worms on the dash for good measure.

Sweet van! One of the few Fords I'd want. Actually nearly any of them with a Powerstroke.

I'm honestly not a PC type person in the least, but I've got to say I find the child molesting jokes a bit distasteful, oh and old...

Curtis Aren't you the guy that bought a box van to move to Texas and then couldn't sell it for what you wanted? Maybe you can buy it back.

yeah... not happy about that. I grew up there and remember all the BS.

Throw the boat in the trailer and pack it full.

That's a thought. The small boat is unfortunately not very light. Its a 58 Sea King runabout with seats, a hood, etc. The roof of the trailer doesn't look like it would support it, not to mention all the BS I would have to take off of it to put it up there.

I was... but I finally found a guy who paid me what I originally paid for it and its in Illinois now. That was a great truck for that move, but not a wise decision given its single-purpose. This way when I'm done with the move I have a daily driver PedEx van and a kick-arse trailer that will actually be useful.

For me, "Grassroots" means that your project is firmly rooted to the ground because the grass has grown through the floorboards.

I got it for free and its almost worth that much. My buddy was poking around his new property for a good place to build his retirement log home. Once he picked the spot he took his Kubota and Brush-hog to clear it out and ran into this old 65 Scout. It was last registered in 1980.

The only thing that made it worth the gas to go get it was that I found a Craftsman socket set in the back.

Always been a fan of Scouts & Scout II's. Almost bought a a 80 Scout II in 82 when I was being transfered to Alaska. Wife convinced me to buy new instead so I got a 82 Nissan/Datsun Sentra. Worse car I ever owned, traded it in Alaska for a K5 Blazer which was one of the best vehicle I've owned. I wanted a Scout like that one to set up for off-roading and hunting. Something different than the bobtail Broncos, Toyota Land Cruisers and Jeep CJ's that everyone else had. Scouts and Scout II's were real bad when it came to rusting away though.

so since we're impala buddies you will pay it forward? ;)

my uncle works for international, he has a 75 XLC and sold his 68 or 69 without asking me, which made me sad because i wanted it and it was pretty solid. i'd love a scout.

Personally, I live in a place with a police force that takes a dim view of "Pedo" jokes. I'd be careful.
