Thought I'd throw up a pic of the Off-Road Camper I'm building.

It's going in for paint next week. Hopefully I can have it done by spring.

    Build thread here:

    http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=826530

I also have a build thread on the teardrop forum.

The GRM Connection? I saw a thread on here about teardrop trailers a few years? ago and had just built what was to be my last locost frame, so I had plenty of square tube.

Basically I'm going for a military look...olive drab, old jerry cans, etc.

If you don't know what a teardrop trailer is, it's basically a step up from tent camping. There's room for two to sleep, and a kitchen area in the back.

    Thanks for looking,

    James

    awesome.

I'm looking hard at offroad campers as my wife hates camping. A FWC popup with toilet and shower will be a great thing for me.

    are you on expo? http://www.expeditionportal.com/

    or www.wanderthewest.com

If not I suggest you check them out.

Cool looking but more like an armoured, tow-behind bbq than a teardrop trailer.

I've been to expedition portal, but not wander the west.

Didn't mean to imply it's a teardrop shape, just the basic size/configuration.

    Thanks for the replies.
