Hi Guys, I couldn’t find an ‘Introduce Yourself’ thread so I’m starting here. If that’s not OK, please just let me know -- I’m new to the forum. I wanted to say hello and bounce an idea off you.
I’ve owned and enjoyed a lot of great cars over the years. My daily driver these days is a pristine black 944 cab with a custom tan and black interior. But my favorite ride is on paper -- it’s a ‘laydown’ kart that I’m using in a graphic novel and hopefully for a movie. As I say on my website, ‘Picture yourself in a chase to save the girl of your dreams. At 120 mph and one inch off the ground …’ The girl is the ‘Carly’ from my username.
The story is basically ‘Fast and Furious’ in a laydown kart. Does this sound like a good idea to serious car folks? Do you think it could make a good movie? I’ve got lots more to say about it, but I don’t want to take up to much space without knowing I’m on the right track and in the right place.
I’d really like to get your feedback on the project. And of course I’d really like to know what thread I should be in to ask these questions. Any ideas?
Thanks, great to meet you, and I’m looking forward to talking,
Paul
