Check this out (the video, specifically):

http://www.spillcontainment.com/everdry

Wonder how long it lasts...or how much it costs.

Edit: Just watched the application video and it seems to be no more durable than a regular layer of wax, and it has to be applied as a 2-part spray with a heat gun in between...still, could be useful.

Also found this:

Ouch, very un-grassroots price!

But if you do then the bedliner can't stick to it!

Not so sure about the heat gun step though...

Am I the only one that was reminded of Spongebob Squarepants Season One, Episode One? Who could forget the Hydrodynamic Spatula with Port and Starboard Attachments and Turbo Drive!

IIRC it was a Superhydrodynamic Spatula with Port and Starboard Attachments and Turbo Drive.

I saw a company applying it to cell phones on some gadget show a while back.

Seems like a good idea for a phone, and the cost isn't too bad.

I have such a WANT for that for my miata top.... (FYI: using cap dry works good, but anywhere that is not the top that you get it looks like butt.)

How well would that work inside of an engine? Say, in oil drain passages and intake manifolds?? Someone needs to do an experiment......
