I can't stop thinking about a friend, from 1980. We were like brothers. I moved to TX and lost contact. The only thing I can tell you is we went to school in Portland OR at Sacajawea.

There is more than one service out there to help you connect with old friends.
Have you tried Facebook? Heard of more than one case of people finding long lost twins and stuff like that on Facebook.

Try old schools you attended, I found a bunch of old friends recently via a Facebook page for my old primary school.

Yeah see if he's been making it to any reunions. Try to search for his close friends if he's hard to find. Pick his friends who have unique names or known whereabouts. That's where I would start anyway.

Yes, His parents split. But its not the norm to change your kids names. I have found his dad. Who is not taking. I don't know his mothers name so that is out.

Intellius is generally pretty good, but nothing came up. I also checked obituaries.com but nothing turned up. Best bet is to get the dad talking.
