I just watched the new version of the bizarre 60s TV series "The Prisoner" playing on AMC.
Anybody watch it? Opinions?

it's gotten some pretty bad reviews... I loved the original though
no where near as good as the original
I might give it one more shot but I'm not expecting to have my opinion changed. hopefully this will increase interest in the original and it will come back on BBC or PBS soon, I've never seen the whole serires and I would like to.
I only have one question:
Who is number 1?
It's obvious if you see the end of the original series

You are number 6.
Who works for #2?
feels a lot like "Lost"

You are, Number Six.
Anyone remember the Simpsons episode that had elements of the Prisoner in it?

the real question is: who does #2 work for?
Entire series available to watch online.
I didn't like the first one.
Any Lotus content?

4 episodes in and I'm starting to think it might be more like the matrix. Lotus no, a tiny bit of WRX yes, and all the subbie commercial you can handle.
I wasn't very impressed. There were some interesting older cars tho. The red taxi was a Renault Dauphine,my 1st & worst car. I wanted to see how far it'd go before it broke down but in most of the scenes it was in it was standing still.
Put it this way... the new one isn't going to inspire anyone to write awesome metal like the first.
