so i gueeds since my favorite race cars arent coming back to my area. its off to baltimore for me if i can do it next yr.. sucks.. i have always enjoyed indy cars...

That sucks.
I really wish there was a road course here in the Chicago area that they would run on. We have Autobahn in Joliet, but I'm not sure the facility is large enough for spectators.

New Hampshire Speedway isn't a good place to host Indycar racing anyway. The track is pretty far away from any big cities and the Northeast isn't exactly filled with open wheel fans. There's still a slim chance for an Indycar race in 2012, but I wouldn't bet on it.

The article I read didn't indicate it that it was a done deal. Basically it was the track owner publicly saying that the series was going to have to bring more money to the table to make it worth it to him to host again(greater sponsorship or something). Weather was not the best, however I think the format was poor as well. Had they done the ACT cars the same day as the Indy cars I bet you would have seen more folks in the stands. However, I think the indy guys didn't like the rubber the ACT guys left on the track. Basically, you need it to be a one day event. I was surprised by the lack of turn out, even though I knew it wouldn't be as popular as the nascar races. On that note, it looks like they are doing some last minute hustling to fill the seats for the nascar race.....so maybe it's just the economy or something.

yes i do watch alot of different forms of racing.. but as a pro touring series goes.. indy cars are my favorite.. if WMT type modifieds rran all over the country i would like them even more.. The mods are my favorite regional touring series.
